Kishtwar, April 13, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan (JKAS), has extended warm and heartfelt greetings to the people of District Kishtwar on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.
In his message, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the cultural and agricultural importance of the festival, stating that Baisakhi marks the culmination of a farmer’s efforts and the joy of harvest, especially celebrated across northern India.
“Baisakhi symbolises the spirit of unity, harmony, and vibrant traditions. It’s a celebration of the hard work of our farmers and the blessings of a good harvest,” said the DC.
He also added that festivals like Baisakhi help to promote brotherhood, peace, and social unity, strengthening the social fabric of society.
On this joyous occasion, the Deputy Commissioner prayed for peace, prosperity, and well-being of all the residents of District Kishtwar.

किश्तवाड़, 13 अप्रैल 2025: जिला विकास आयुक्त किश्तवाड़ (श्री राजेश कुमार शवन, JKAS) ने बैसाखी के पावन अवसर पर जिला किश्तवाड़ के सभी नागरिकों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं दी हैं।
अपने संदेश में डीसी ने बैसाखी के सांस्कृतिक और कृषि महत्व को रेखांकित करते हुए कहा कि यह पर्व किसानों की मेहनत और फसल की खुशी का प्रतीक है, जिसे विशेष रूप से उत्तरी भारत में बड़े उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है।
