Rajouri, Zahid Shah:- A training program for Pharmacists, ASHAs, and other healthcare staff was successfully conducted today at CHC Kalakote under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, as per the directions of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Sh. Abhishek Sharma (IAS), Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote, Sh. Mohammad Tanwir (KAS), and Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, Dr. M. L. Rana.
The program was organized and conducted by Dr. Iqbal Malik, Block Medical Officer Kalakote, who is also holding the additional charge of the District Mental Health Programme Rajouri.
During the session, a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation was delivered highlighting the harmful effects of substance abuse, strategies for prevention, early identification, and the role of healthcare workers in community awareness and rehabilitation.
The participants actively engaged in the training and were sensitized about their crucial role in making the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan a success at the grassroots level. The initiative reflects the commitment of the district administration and health department towards creating a drug-free society.
