Rajouri: In a continued effort to combat drug abuse, Rajouri Police in collaboration with the District Administration Rajouri on Friday organised padyatras at multiple locations across the district under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.
A large number of district officers, officials, and members of civil society participated in the awareness drives, reflecting strong public support for the eradication of the drug menace. The padyatras were conducted with the aim of spreading awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoting a collective commitment towards a drug-free society.

During the programme, participants also took a pledge to fight against drug abuse and contribute actively towards making the Union Territory free from narcotics.
The initiative is part of an ongoing intensive campaign being carried out across Jammu and Kashmir to curb drug abuse and enhance community participation in the fight against drugs.
Rajouri Police reiterated its commitment to continue such awareness programmes alongside strict enforcement measures to eliminate the menace of drugs from society.
