Rajouri: BJP District President Rajouri, Dev Raj Sharma, along with senior BJP leaders, office bearers, and BJYM functionaries, visited the historic Veer Badreshawar Temple situated along the Zero Line of Control and offered special prayers for the long life, good health, and continued success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently completed a historic 4,399 days as India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister.
The delegation paid obeisance at the revered temple and prayed for peace, prosperity, and the continued progress of the nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Located along the LoC and overlooking Mirpur, Khuiratta, Sensa, and areas up to Kotli across Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK), the temple holds immense religious, cultural, and national significance.
The prayers and religious rituals were conducted by the chief priest of the temple, Pandit Suresh Kumar Sharma Ji, who invoked the blessings of Lord Shiva for the prosperity of the nation, the well-being of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and lasting peace in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Dev Raj Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided strong and visionary leadership to the nation, strengthening national security, accelerating development, and enhancing India’s stature globally. He said that BJP workers and supporters across the country are proud of the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to national service and the vision of a developed and self-reliant India.
Sharma further stated that from the sacred Veer Badreshawar Temple, BJP leaders prayed for the continued strength and good health of Prime Minister Modi and expressed confidence that under his leadership, India would continue to grow stronger and achieve its national aspirations, including the eventual reunification of Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir with the rest of the country.

The programme concluded with prayers for national unity, prosperity, and the welfare of all citizens, followed by chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
