Budhal, Zahid Shah: Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Budhal successfully concluded a three-day Divisional Level Mega Awareness Programme held from April 8 to April 10, 2026, in compliance with the directions of higher authorities at the Union Territory Headquarters.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teaching staff, and volunteers, with a focus on spreading awareness about key social, environmental, and educational issues.

The event commenced on April 8 with an inaugural session conducted through virtual mode via ICT laboratories. Students and faculty members actively joined the session and received valuable guidance from higher authorities.
On the second day, April 9, a variety of co-curricular activities, including essay writing, quiz competitions, and painting contests, were organized. Students participated with great zeal, demonstrating their creativity, awareness, and intellectual abilities.
The programme culminated on April 10 with a Mega Awareness Rally that started from the school premises and proceeded up to TCP Budhal. Students, carrying placards and raising meaningful slogans, interacted with the general public to highlight important societal concerns.

The NCC cadets of the institution also played a vital role in the successful execution of the rally. Their disciplined participation and active involvement added strength, coordination, and a sense of leadership to the event.
The school administration appreciated the collective efforts of students, staff, and NCC cadets for making the programme a grand success. The institution reaffirmed its commitment to organizing similar awareness initiatives in the future for the betterment of society.
